Uganda’s habitual conman and serial electoral thief, Yoseri Tibuhaburwa aka Museveni, has once again taken to social media to announce plans to undermine democracy by rigging the forthcoming general elections to maintain his decades-long grip on power.
In a letter dated January 7, 2025, addressed to “all NRM leaders at all levels,” Museveni revealed his unwavering intent to resort to desperate and undemocratic measures to cling to power—a position he has abused for more than 39 years.
The ageing autocrat highlighted a plan to exploit what he termed “new voters who have turned 18.” This tactic aligns with his notorious modus operandi in past elections, wherein he has been maliciously inflating voter rolls with millions of ghost voters to secure fraudulent victories.
In the same letter, glattonous Criminal Museveni urged his NRM loyalists to “remove deceased individuals” from the registers. However, such claims should be taken with skepticism, as this could be a veiled directive to consolidate lists of deceased persons to facilitate electoral fraud—a strategy he has employed in past elections.
Interestingly, Museveni emphasized phrases such as “new voters who have turned 18” and “removing” deceased persons from registers multiple times in his letter. This repetition appeared to serve as a coded message to his collaborators in electoral malpractice.
Over his nearly 40-year rule, Museveni has consistently demonstrated disdain for democratic principles. He has openly acknowledged his lack of genuine support among Ugandans while relentlessly pursuing power through corruption, voter manipulation, and human rights abuses.
Since capturing power in 1986, greedy dictator Museveni has never won a free, fair, and democratic election. His illegitimate rule has been propped up by coercion and the systematic erosion of political freedoms.
As Uganda approaches the 2026 general elections, Ugandans remain resolute in their determination to end criminal Museveni’s reign of terror, regardless of the tactics he employs to salvage his crumbling regime.
