Bloodthirsty Yoseri Tibuhaburwa aka YK Museveni is busy enjoying his political circus while fellow Ugandans starve to death.

It has become the norm that our corrupt scarecrow parliamentarians and some sponsored unprofessional media personalities supposedly meant to deliberate on issues of national importance have instead been hijacked and turned into stages to solely praise and bootlick the greedy barbarian, foreigner Yoseri Museveni.

This is a treacherous political gambit and agenda-setting scheme that the murderous criminal Museveni has successfully instilled among Ugandans to draw a veil over the real and pressing issues he has inflicted on them during his 40 years of brutal tyranny.

For instance, we have witnessed that every platform is currently awash with the drama and irregularities that marred the NRM primaries and the election of Special Interest Group representatives while no one dares to speak about the starvation that is ravaging the country, especially in Karamoja!

Our fellow long-oppressed and marginalized Ugandans in the Karamoja sub-region are increasingly dying from hunger and malnutrition diseases while others are forced to flee their homes in search of food due to the severe famine devastating the area. The situation is particularly alarming in Kotido District.

The decade-long suffering endured by the people of Karamoja is widely attributed to greedy dictator Museveni and his half Somali brother- Salim Saleh aka Caleb Akandwanaho, who have systematically grabbed all the land and natural resources in Karamoja.

Over the last forty years , M7 and his half-brother have successfully motivated the political neglect and deliberate exclusion of the region from development efforts mainly because ciminal Museveni perceives Karamoja as the region of his enemies. The region has endured prolonged state sponsored suffering, neglect, systematically stripped of poverty alleviation programs and essential infrastructure.

Some desperate Karamojongs openly point to entrenched hatred under Museveni’s corrupt, tribalistic regime as a key factor worsening their plight.

Meanwhile, the power-hungry dictator continues to divert trillions of taxpayers’ money, plunging Uganda deeper into poverty and foreign debt. Today, every Ugandan carries an individual debt burden of approximately UGX 2.3 million.

It is worth recalling that the ageing dictator once publicly admitted that he does not serve Ugandans, but rather works only for himself and his family.

The time has come for Ugandans to hold this corrupt, authoritarian regime accountable. We must never allow ourselves to fall prey to criminal Museveni’s tactics.
