Criminal Museveni’s hit squads, operating under the notorious SFC, CMI, ISO, Police, among other bloody groupings, are increasingly abducting innocent civilians labelled as ’unarmed opposition supporters’ and whisking them away in drones.
Credible reports from Museveni’s office indicate that the desperate modus operandi is supposedly intended to help him secure victory in next year’s elections.
The latest victim of this terror campaign is a prominent NUP principal, Robert Kyagulanyi’s civilian bodyguard, Edward Ssebufu, commonly known as Eddie Mutwe, who was violently abducted on Sunday and whisked away in a drone by heavily armed SFC operatives.
We have witnessed these shameless criminal activities time and again, especially as general elections approach. It remains Museveni’s primary tactic to cling to power by terrorizing Ugandans, particularly members of the leading opposition party.
Moreover, abduction remains Museveni’s weapon of choice to weaken the opposition. However, this nefarious tactic will not save this ageing tyrant from his imminent downfall.
Eddie Mutwe now joins thousands of other opposition supporters languishing in Museveni’s torture chambers across the country, following a renewed wave of abductions ahead of next year’s elections.
Tragically, some abducted individuals are feared dead, as their whereabouts have remained unknown since their abductions years ago.
Fellow compatriots, let us rise and confront Museveni’s tyranny before it is too late!
