It is no longer a secret the bloodthirsty criminal Yoseri Tibuhaburwa alias M7 and his NRM are now more or less like the final kicks of a dying horse.
The murderous power-hungry dictator Museveni’s institutionalized corruption is now at the helm of NRM’s steady downfall.
This was evident once again yesterday when Museveni summoned most of his loyalist scarecrow delegates to State House Entebbe for the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
What was meant to shape the discussion about his party’s future leadership quickly degenerated into an informal courtroom drama.
Discussion erupted into chaos, as delegates were furiously accusing one another of grave crimes ranging from voter bribery to violence, abductions, ugly intrigues that prove the NRM has already collapsed and remains nothing but a steadily rotting carcass.
All this unfolded in the presence of the murderous criminal – Museveni himself. To the surprise of the audience, the tired and weary dude – M7 merely stammered and mumbled disoriented “guidance” on the very corruption he has long inculcated as his treacherous tool for survival.
It should be recalled that the disgraced dictator Yoseri Kagutema Rutabasiirwa alias Museveni has been desperately trying to buy public favour by bribing Ugandans with hard-earned taxpayer money under the guise of his dubious and abortive PDM program.
NRM sycophants who were at each other’s throats over corruption and voter abductions, are merely imitating their criminal master, murderous power hungry Museveni for corruption and lawlessness are the very hallmarks of his soon ending regime.
Now, the pressing question on the mind of every concerned Ugandan is: What next?
Bribery is a criminal offence under Uganda’s Penal Code. Will the judiciary rise to the occasion and act, or will it remain silent in the face of such blatant abuse of power?
Corruption is the air Museveni breathes, the lifeblood of his steadily crumbling regime. For decades, he has relied on it to entrench his iron-fisted rule.
Let us recall that in 2017, Museveni personally pocketed $500,000 bribe from Chinese national, Patrick Ho in exchange for business favours in Uganda. Patrick Ho was later convicted of corruption in a U.S. court.
That same year, Museveni splashed $3.5 million on MPs to scrap the presidential age limit from the constitution yet another example of his shameless use of public funds to manipulate the political system.
What Museveni fails to grasp is that the end of his regime is no longer a question of if, but when.
