As deadly protests against President Ruto’s regime currently rock Kenya with demonstrators boldly demanding his resignation, Uganda’s octogenarian, power-hungry Gen Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Kagutema has resorted to desperate and hypocritical attempts to appease Ugandans in a futile bid to prevent similar unrest at home.

After spending sleepless nights in anxiety, Criminal Museveni yesterday drove to the UPDF Command and Staff College in Kimaka, where he delivered a lengthy lecture. In his speech, he scornfully remarked that “Gen Z should not be rioting over local grievances”, a statement that underscores just how unapologetic this long-serving dictator truly is.

While Kenyans chant “Ruto must go,” Ugandans have long echoed “Dictator Museveni must go.” Yet, in Kimaka, the panicked ruler shamelessly advised senior officers that Ugandans should not draw inspiration from their Kenyan neighbours. Instead, he argued that national resources, especially land, should be their focus. SMH!

By urging Ugandans to rely on land, Museveni assumes they are too naïve to recognise his well-documented land-grabbing schemes. Over the years, he has turned vast tracts of land into personal property, a typical example of the social inequalities that fuel the people’s demand for his exit.

What Museveni fails to grasp is that Uganda’s Gen Z represents a ticking time bomb, one that is bound to erupt and will not spare his crumbling regime.

Take, for instance, the tragic case of Benjamin Agaba, a young casual labourer who, in March this year, set himself on fire near Parliament after being abandoned by both Museveni and the ruling party he had once supported with unwavering loyalty.

Agaba’s death was merely the tip of the iceberg. Long-oppressed Ugandans continue to yearn for change, making nationwide protests not a question of if, but when. The fate that has befallen other dictators, whether in Kenya or beyond, now looms large over Uganda 🇺🇬

Power-hungry criminal Museveni is merely flogging a dead horse. His disgraceful downfall is inevitable.

Enough is Enough with Musevenism
