Power-hungry despot Gen Kagutema Tibuhaburwa “Museveni”, who on several occasions claimed he would never cling to power, is now determined to rule until his grave after 40 years of repression and a relentless witch-hunt against dissenting voices.

As of today, Criminal Museveni is breathing a sigh of relief after managing to mercilessly render Uganda’s opposition headless.

That’s the gambit the foreign tyrant hopes will help him consolidate power he has long abused at the expense of Ugandans, who have effectively been turned into slaves in his open prison.

It all began as Uganda was gearing up for the January 15, 2026 presidential elections, when Museveni ordered the abduction of his former personal doctor, Col. Kizza Besigye, also a four-time presidential candidate, whom he slapped with bogus charges and held incommunicado for nearly two years.

H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi, whom Ugandans overwhelmingly voted for as their President in the recently concluded election, only for the notorious electoral thief Museveni to overturn the results and declare himself “winner” at gunpoint, was forced into exile following months of oppression and persecution.

Museveni went even further, applying medieval tactics to weaken the opposition by targeting its bigwigs.

Thousands were hastily thrown into his dungeons, while others including Sam Mugumya and former detective Lawrence Ampe from Uganda Prisons, were subjected to enforced disappearance, to the extent that they are now feared dead.

The majority of political prisoners currently languishing in Museveni’s dungeons are from President Kyagulanyi’s National NUP, including his deputy presidents, Dr Lina Zedriga (Northern), Jolly Tukamushaba (Western), and MP Muwanga Kivumbi (Central), alongside many others across different ranks in the party.

We must stand united and determined to end the reign of an octogenarian whose age has outlasted his vision, whose tenure has outlived justice, and whose declining physical and mental faculties contrast sharply with an ambition that continues to threaten the future of an entire nation.

Our country, Uganda, deserves far better than tyranny. It is time to liberate ourselves and reclaim our identity.
