Chief assassin Gen Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Kagutema a.k.a. Museveni has once again revealed his true colours as a primitive criminal diehard who refuses to reconcile or at least attend the burial of a Comrade- Maj John Bashaija Kazoora, one of the decorated NRA historicals (banansiko) who selflessly contributed to the NRA liberation struggle.

We all know that it is through this struggle that our power-hungry despot was put in office in 1986 and has since manipulated his lifetime ruthless rule.

The late Kazoora breathed his last on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, following a slow-killing poison administered by Museveni’s killing squad aka Nakasongola boys.

Comrade Maj Kazoora’s death sentence by poisoning was in retaliation for his bold decision to quit Museveni’s cabal of crooks under the NRM, later becoming a fierce and unapologetic critic of the regime. Rest in Power our Comrade.

The Comrade is best remembered for his explosive 2012 memoir, Betrayed by My Leader, a scathing indictment of Museveni, whom he portrayed as a paranoid ruler sustained by a manipulative system mainly based on his selfish pattern of ’using and dumping’ loyal selfless comrades committed to serve their nation.

Moreover, in the hypocritically crafted eulogy read by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the power-hungry dictator could not afford to conceal his primitivity and vindictive nature.

Instead of honouring the fallen hero, Museveni used the occasion to lament Kazoora’s courageous departure from the NRM and his endorsement of independent constructive
opposition views – ignoring that this is a right enshrined by our constitution.

It should be remembered that after defecting from the NRM to the opposition FDC, the late Kazoora fought tooth and nail against Museveni’s relentless crusade to crush dissent.

Though he failed three times to secure a parliamentary seat in his native Ankole, Kazoora remained undeterred. On the contrary, he doubled down on his mission to resist Museveni’s obsessive ambition to deliberately destroy Uganda through his envisioned selfish life rule.

Museveni had already avenged himself on Kazoora throughout his lifetime, using military intimidation and subjecting him to all forms of persecution. Yet, Kazoora remained steadfast in the struggle, unshaken in his resistance to the dictatorship.

It is utterly shameful and pathetic that this ageing despot would go so far as to avenge himself again, this time against a man who is no longer alive.

But such is the true nature of Museveni. Those who choose to serve this evil, must do so at their own peril.
