Co-president “Maama” Janet afraid of her future as husband’s era nears its end
Ageing and ruthless tyrant Janet Mwesigwa Makumbi Kataaha Museveni better known as “Maama Janet” or as Maama Elephantiasis, wife of tyrant Gen. Museveni, is visibly gripped by fear, knowing well that the collapse of their 40-year reign of terror is just around the corner.
This anxiety was laid bare earlier this week when Maama Elephantiasis herself drove to Ntungamo to personally oversee an NRM baraza, a desperate attempt to strategise how best to rig the upcoming elections and prolong her husband’s brutal rule.
Addressing the long-suffering wananchi of Ntungamo, who were forcibly dragged to attend the gathering in a region that has boldly shifted into an opposition stronghold, the octogenarian tyrant, nicknamed ‘Elephantiasis’ due to her perpetually swollen legs, appeared visibly shaken.
In a tone dripping with desperation, she pleaded with grassroots leaders to do whatever it takes to deliver votes for her fading strongman.
Despite being Uganda’s unofficial co-president, Maama Janet clings to the title of Minister of Education, a portfolio her husband handed her as part of a long-term scheme to keep the masses uneducated and easier to manipulate.
For decades, the Musevenis have thrived by suffocating institutions, silencing critics, and ruling through fear.
Beyond the titles and flashy convoys, Maama Janet is infamous for her cruelty. She orders extrajudicial killings, and her name is whispered in connection with the silent wars waged against anyone perceived to be a threat, especially those rumoured to be close to her husband.
Shoot-to-kill orders, torture, and cold-blooded vengeance have defined her sinister influence in Uganda’s corridors of power.
As the sun sets on Museveni’s dictatorship, the panic in Maama Janet’s voice is unmistakable. Her rushed interventions, desperate speeches, and iron-fisted legacy paint the portrait of a woman terrified of a post-Museveni Uganda!
Little does she know that their downfall is inevitable!
