For the first time in history, Ugandan citizens are banned from entering the United States of America, a move that Washington says is intended to protect the global superpower from foreign terrorist threats.

This effectively means that we, Ugandans, are now being branded as terrorists on the international stage because of Musevenism.

This is a shameful legacy of power-hungry despot Museveni who has been using terrorism both within Uganda and neighboring countries such as the DRC and South Sudan as his core strategy to cling to power.

It should not be forgotten that chief terrorist Museveni first adopted terrorism as a political tool in 1996, when he shamelessly created the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a group now officially blacklisted as a terrorist organization by both the UN and the USA. He strategically based the group in eastern DRC.

Uganda’s designation as a terrorist state is a direct consequence of the violence and instability regularly caused by Museveni’s ADF. Whenever Museveni seeks to portray himself as a national savior, he orchestrates terror attacks through the ADF, only to surface later as the supposed hero who restores order.

Even members of the ADF have confirmed this alliance. Jamil Mukulu, the group’s former “military leader” and once a close ally of Museveni, made explosive revelations in court in 2020. As he was escorted back to a detainee van, he publicly declared:

“This government of Uganda sponsors the ADF. But if it is a terror organisation, why do they support them with military logistics and finance?”

These revelations sent shockwaves through the regime. In response, criminal Museveni chose to delay Mukulu’s substantive trial, an obvious tactic to buy time and bury the truth from the public eye.

It is time for Ugandans to unite and confront the reality: Gen Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Kagutema “Museveni”, the chief terrorist, is now a global liability.

His four decades-long criminal rule has started to erode our country’s standing in the international community, and even our basic right to travel is now at stake!
