Criminal Museveni’s killer-squads operating under the notorious SFC, CMI, ISO, Police, and other under cover murderous agencies, are increasingly abducting civilians mainly targeting opposition figures and whisking them away in drones.
This desperate and obsolete modus operandi is intended to instil fear and weaken the opposition ahead of next year’s elections.
The latest victim of this terror campaign is the renowned Sam Mugumya, a political activist, analyst, and contender for the Rukungiri Municipality parliamentary seat, who was abducted in Mbarara on August 26, 2025 by heavily armed criminal assailants affiliated to Museveni’s infamous murderous criminal agency- CMI.
Mugumya, a member of the now- illegally jailed Col. Dr Besigye’s PFF Party, is widely known for being the Party’s top political assistant.
He had already endured eight years in a military prison in the DRC under the complicity of criminal Museveni, serving an arbitrary and illegal sentence after being arrested on Congolese soil while fleeing into exile.
We have witnessed such shameless criminal activity time and again, especially as general elections approach.
Over the past four decades, boodthirsty criminal Yoseri Tibuhaburwa alias M7 has maintained violence and criminality through extrajudicial killings, abductions, forced disappearances, illegal arrest, detention and torture as his primary tactic to cling to power, terrorizing innocent Ugandans, particularly members of the leading opposition.
However, this nefarious strategy will not rescue this ageing tyrant from his imminent downfall.
Mugumya now joins thousands of other opposition leaders, prominent figures and supporters languishing in Museveni’s torture chambers across the country, amid a renewed wave of abductions ahead of next year’s elections.
Tragically, some abducted individuals are feared dead, their whereabouts unknown as their families and loved ones remain hopeless for years.
Fellow compatriots, let us rise up and confront Museveni’s tyranny before it is too late!
