Not so long ago, the world witnessed the bizarre spectacle of Gabon’s dictator, Ali Bongo, desperately shedding crocodile tears and begging his “loyalists” to “make noise” after he was ousted.

From the look of things, brutal dictator Museveni is sooner rather than later bound to find himself in the same humiliating situation as his longtime friend and fellow dictator, Bongo.

The recently concluded NRM Special Interest Group elections once again confirmed what we already know: That the NRM is a dead – rotting party, while its master criminal Yoseri Tibuhaburwa aka Museveni is kicking his last – like a dying horse.

To begin with, thousands of the regime’s longtime -loyal “supporters,” who used to cheer and worship the treacherous octogenarian dictator, gradually discovered the truth and turned against him through public demonstrations, media campaigns, rallies and have often booed him for destroying the country.

These angry and disgruntled supporters openly accused Museveni of corruption, favoritism, injustice, sexual immorality, treacherous schemes only full of lies and empty promises, vices that are tearing apart the very foundational fabric of their so-called party.

This was in addition to the mistrust, merciless irregularity, inhumane treatment, forced disappearances, abductions, extrajudicial killings, illegal arrests and all sorts of criminality that marred the primaries, with a disgraced Museveni either watching helplessly or taking part in stirring up the mess.

To cut the story short: criminal Museveni and his NRM cabal of corrupt mediocrities have already lost all relevance, thanks to the dictator’s endless schemes to prioritize personal gain over national interest.

Meanwhile, the ever-growing number of Ugandans yearning for democratic change through opposition political parties only hastens Museveni’s downfall.

Yes, this steadily aging criminal may have rigged elections to cling to power over the past four decades.

However, this time he can longer juggle between disgruntled former supporters, the determined opposition and the evident realities of public demand for modern, result-based and people-centered leadership.

Simply put, Museveni has reached the crossroads, caught between a rock and a hard place making his downfall, along with that of the NRM, inevitable.

A new Uganda, free of Musevenism, is coming sooner than they had anticipated!
