In an unusual turn of events, Satan Gen Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Kagutema alias Museveni has begun the new week on the defensive, portraying himself as an “angel” who is innocent of the institutionalized torture that he uses as a primary weapon to coerce and force dissenting voices into submission under his brutal junta.
The foreign tyrant took to X/Twitter with a lengthy statement written by AI and he personally signed it in response to a series of investigative reports recently published by veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda.
In those reports, Mwenda exposed one Stephen Nuwagaba that he blackmails vulnerable public officials by threatening to report their indiscretions to Museveni.
Mwenda further portrayed Nuwagaba as a notorious conman living at State House who enjoys high-level protection from the thief-in-chief, Museveni while extorting money from politicians, members of Museveni’s security agencies, and prominent business figures.
As expected, Museveni acknowledged accommodating and protecting Nuwagaba, whom he described as “a victim of torture and maiming by some elements in the Security Services who were trying to silence him, including threatening him [Nuwagaba] with death.”
Criminal Museveni went on to state that Nuwagaba’s torturers and attackers belong to his own security forces, but interestingly, he attempted to absolve himself of responsibility for these very serious crimes that continue to plague Uganda.
“โฆIn the last 56 years I have been fighting, I have never tortured, or ordered anybody to torture an opponent,” Museveni’s statement reads in part.
No naรฏve reader of Museveni’s statement could be led to believe such falsehoods. That someone else, rather than Museveni himself, is ruling Uganda, and that this unknown authority, not Museveni, is responsible for the torture and numerous human rights violations committed by his regime in broad daylight. This is M7’s same old nonsensical trash.
The plain truth is that Museveni bears responsibility for the torture and all the other forms of ill-treatment carried out by his personalized security apparatus against innocent Ugandans. Understanding this does not require rocket science.
It should be recalled that many of those whom the junta has tortured into comas or killed extrajudicially share one thing in common: they are perceived as opponents of Museveni, who remains determined to misrule our country, Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ for life.
โ
That alone points to who ultimately bears responsibility for these abuses, regardless of Museveni’s attempts to distance himself from them.
Regardless of whether Nuwagaba is innocent of the allegations raised in Mwenda’s investigations, he is serving as a distraction from the pressing issues facing the country at a time when Museveni’s kleptocracy is steadily losing public trust and confidence.
That being said, power-greedy criminal Museveni will soon be thrown out of office and be held accountable for rdering the extrajudicial killings and torture of innocent citizens mainly from the opposition, whom he has consistently portrayed as “terrorists.”
