A recent investigation by the BBC World Service has confirmed what we have long exposed: disgraced criminal Museveni and his half-Somali brother, Gen Salim Saleh (Rufu), are at the center of a shocking deadly enterprise of trafficking Ugandan youth into modern slavery, sexual abuse and exploitation.
Even worse, victims are increasingly dying, while the main culprits roam scot-free and continue to cash in from this ever-growing illicit business.
The BBC investigation unmasked one Charles Mwesigwa, a notorious senior pimp who oversees Museveni and his brother’s sordid network in Dubai and other parts of the Middle East.
Mwesigwa, the regime’s blue-eyed boy, works hand-in-hand with Museveni’s security apparatus, which scouts for vulnerable young girls to be trafficked.
Disguised as employment and scholarship opportunities, Museveni and his brother’s clandestine mafia companies, in collusion with Ugandan embassies, ship unsuspecting young Ugandans abroad.
Upon arrival, the victims’ travel documents are confiscated, rendering them powerless, vulnerable, and unable to escape. Dubai, along with other parts of Asia and the Middle East, has become a hub for this horrific human trade.
Greedy dictator Museveni and his brother have amassed trillions of money from exploiting the hopes and dreams of desperate youth seeking a better life abroad. Many victims face terrifying fates, including sexual slavery, organ harvesting, and even death among others.
One tragic case is that of Monica Karungi from Mbarara District – Uganda, who perished in this racket. Others are abandoned on foreign streets without money, identification, or any means of survival; a devastating reality that surfaces regularly on social media.
The BBC also revealed that these young Ugandans are sold to prominent musicians, footballers, and even heads of state, making this criminal business more complex and shielding Museveni from accountability as its mastermind.
Additionally, Museveni and his half-Somali brother, Gen Rufu, operate companies in Dubai that are directly linked to human trafficking and organ harvesting operations.
It is increasingly clear to the world that criminal Museveni is deeply involved in these heinous crimes.
Following, the recent U.K. conviction and Prison sentence to Uganda’s High Court Judge Lydia Mugambe, a landmark case on modern slavery, to six years and four months in prison, it’s a strong signal that justice is closing in on Museveni’s criminal network.
This is precisely what we mean when we say that murderous power-hungry criminal despot Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Rutabasiirwa alias M7.
