This morning, we woke up to the clearest picture of Museveniโs dictatorship. At Plot 6, Katonga Road, Nakasero, anti-riot police sealed off the headquarters of the People’s Front for Freedom. They blocked cars. They blocked pedestrians. They turned a public road into a military barricade.
Their crime? PFF leaders planned to do the most peaceful thing in a democracy โ walk to the Office of the Chief Justice and deliver a petition demanding medical bail and release for Dr. Kizza Besigye and Erias Lukwago.
Octogenarian despot Museveni has the gun, the army, the prisons, the parliament, the judges, the treasury and yet this morning he deployed all of it against a piece of paper.
Why? Because even with all that power, Museveni still fears Kizza Besigye.
He fears him because Besigye is the one Ugandan who has proven, again and again, that Museveni can be removed legally, constitutionally, at the ballot. In 2001, in 2006, in 2011, Besigye showed the country that the emperor has no votes. He organized villages, he counted results, he exposed rigging in real time, he forced a military regime to rig openly, to stuff, to beat, to kill because it could not win honestly. Museveni has never forgiven him for that lesson: that without the gun, he loses.
That is why Besigye must be locked up even when he is sick in a cell, and even asking for his medical bail is treated as treason.
Foreign criminal despot Tibuhaburwa Kagutema a.k.a Museveni knows the day Besigye stands free, healthy, and on a campaign trail, the lie collapses, the fear evaporates, and most importantly, all Ugandans remember they have the power to vote him out.
Look at Hon. Lulume Bayigga today, an elected leader pleading with a policeman with a rifle just to walk on Katonga Road. That is the image painted by Museveni against our country, Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ: a foreigner with over 40 years of absolute power pretending that the world will never see his fear of one unarmed doctor.
You seal a road because you cannot seal the truth, you block a petition because you cannot block the ballot forever.
Museveni has everything except legitimacy while Besigye has nothing except the proof that legitimacy belongs to the people.
That is why Katonga was under siege today. Every barricade on Katonga is a confession: the dictator knows his time is borrowed, his power is stolen, and one man still carries the receipt that can legally end his rule. And Ugandans will never forget it.
This is precisely what we mean when we say that murderous power-greedy foreign criminal despot Tibuhaburwa Kagutema a.k.a Museveni has deliberately and systematically destroyed our country, Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ over the past four decades!
