It all started years ago with AI push-ups in the office “showcasing perfect health and physical energy”, and we pretended to believe the true lie, then power-greedy foreign despot claimed his right hand was struck by a car door.
Since then, the hand has turned a deep, unnatural black with a silky, almost plastic sheen. We got used to the fact that his right arm was rotting, and it all seemed normal as we wait for it to be amputated.
Lately, the left hand looks even more rotten. He keeps it pressed against his pot-belly, stiff and lifeless, like an implant. The skin is abnormally dark and glossy, and all the cells in it are dead.
Both hands are failing, and those are just the external parts we can see on a ruthless dictator who has to be injected with steroids by State House doctors before addressing the public or getting out of his dying bed.
That is the rule of biology and of power. When body parts start rotting, it is never just about the hand. It means the entire body is dying. And it is on record that his doctors from Western Europe have already resigned to fate, saying there isn’t much they can do unless they amputate both of his hands, as the cancer eating them is spreading so fast.
After four decades of signing appointments, waving at rallies, saluting cameras, and reminding Ugandans that another term is essential for him since he only works to serves himself, not Ugandans, the blood-stained hands that led all of that have had enough.
Despot Museveni is battling three different cancers. Besides prostate cancer, he also has acanthosis nigricans and acral melanoma. We already know what prostate cancer is, but let’s talk about what we found in the medical report done by his Western European doctors about acanthosis nigricans and acral melanoma.
Acanthosis nigricans literally causes darker, thicker, velvety skin, usually around the hands, neck, armpits, and groin. In rare cases, it is particularly associated with other cancers of the stomach or other internal cancers. This implies that, although despot Museveni boasts about how much he eats, it is not a choice he made; it is a cancer eating him up in the stomach.
Acral melanoma, on the other hand, is a form of skin cancer occurring on the palms, soles, or under the nails. It usually appears as uniformly dark or black silky skin.
Museveni’s doctors, shipped in from abroad, have recommended to minimise his public appearances, as they always require him to be injected with steroids, which make the cancers more severe.
They have also recommended cutting off his hands if they want to buy him some time. If that happens, we shall be the first country in the world to be ruled by a dictator who is a cripple without hands.
