Sheikh Ndirangwa (RIP) died from slow-acting poison administered to him by criminal Museveniโs infamous โNakasongola boysโ from the so called โpoison brigadeโ.
The senior Muslim leader fell out with murderous Museveni when he began publicly opposing the corruption, sectarianism/Nepotism, moral decay, extra-judicial killings, forced disappearances, illegal arrest and detention, that Museveni has long fostered as tools to maintain his grip on power.
Sheikh Ndirangwaโs fierce stance against Museveniโs brutal tyranny, voiced through his eloquent sermons and principled outspokenness, quickly made him a national figure and further deepened his rift with the regime.
On April 1, 2021, Sheikh Ndirangwa made headlines when he resigned live on national television in protest of Museveniโs infiltration of the Kibuli-based Muslim leadership.
Besides the late Ndirangwa, the bloodthirsty criminal Museveni has over the years killed several other senior Muslim leaders after perceiving them as threats to his insatiable thirst for power.
The victims include Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, Sheikh Balonde, Sheikh Abdu Noor Kalisa, Afande Muhammad Kirumira, Ibrahim Abiriga, the slain Muslims of Kibuli Mosque, and many more.
