As the illegitimate foreign dictator Gen Yoseri Tibuhaburwa Kagutema “Museveni” was swearing himself in for a seventh term on May 12, 2026, he chest-thumped in coded language that he was embarking on a “Kisanja No More Sleep,” loosely translated as a “term of no more sleep.”

The slogan may sound patriotic to some gullible and naïve people who have been given shallow explanations, empty premises, and 40-year diversions by criminal Museveni.

But, as expected, barely two months down the road, criminal Museveni is blatantly fighting tooth and nail to prove what he meant regarding his plan to cling to power for life.

As the sentence itself entails, Ugandans, especially those whom Museveni considers stumbling blocks to his power thirst, are no longer sleeping, as he has invested heavily in repressing the very same patriots working to challenge the status quo, with the aim of liberating the country from Museveni’s captivity.

Silencing the media and freedom of expression, brutal abductions, extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances, illegal detentions and all forms of torture in covert dungeons (safe houses) is what has characterised Museveni’s 40-year misrule of our country, Uganda.

To begin with, while advancing the “Kisanja No More Sleep” narrative, foreign tyrant Museveni was hinting at persecuting dissenting voices at an unprecedented level.

For instance, only a few days ago, dozens of opposition figures and activists were abducted, held incommunicado, and subsequently dumped in Museveni’s kangaroo courts, only to be slapped with bogus charges.

The victims include counsel Erias Lukwago, the outgoing Lord Mayor of Kampala, whom Museveni’s illegal militia (SFC) abducted at gunpoint, tortured while in captivity, and later paraded before court on the bizarre charge of “misprision of treason.”

Another victim is Kenya’s presidential aspirant and Senior Counsel Martha Karua, who was recently abducted by the same SFC, held incommunicado for several hours, and subsequently deported unceremoniously.

The ordeals of Lukwago and Karua are part of an ongoing witch-hunt campaign aimed at further persecuting political prisoner Dr. Kizza Besigye, given that both have been part of his legal team in an ongoing trial where he faces politically motivated charges.

Criminal Museveni has gone the extra mile by abducting several other dissenting voices, including journalist and National Unity Platform (NUP) activist Andrew Natumanya, popularly known as Ninye Tabz, and former Ethics Minister and human rights activist Miriam Matembe, whose whereabouts remain unknown as of today.

The “Kisanja No More Sleep” slogan means muzzling the free press as a ploy to draw a veil over human rights violations, corruption, and other crimes Museveni is committing in his last kicks off a dying horse.

For instance, heavily armed soldiers raided the headquarters of Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda outlets in the early hours of this Saturday, June 28 2026, and shut down its affiliated media platforms, including Daily Monitor, NTV, Dembe FM, Spark TV, KFM, and The East African.

This came after Museveni had consistently badmouthed the media outlets, accusing them of being “traitors” and enemies of the country.

Fellow Ugandans, it remains our patriotic duty to liberate ourselves from the captivity of this foreign despot Museveni.
