When power-greedy foreign octogenarian-Museveni was called senile, he complained but days after he has exhibited all signs of senility by solving the one problem that has troubled philosophers, doctors and seven presidential challengers for forty years: He has solved death.

At the 90th anniversary of St James Cathedral, Ruharo, the dying dude who claims to be turning 82 next month didnโ€™t preach.

He gave a schedule update. โ€œI think I will still be around in 2036, and I will be with you,โ€ he told the congregation, an RSVP filed a decade early, from the Museveni who once told his own inner circle that by 2036 heโ€™d be โ€œtoo oldโ€ and would rather sit on his veranda at Rwakitura listening to the radio. It turns out, he has since promoted himself from retirement age to prime of life. He actually assumes he is immortal.

Forget diet and genetics, the Museveni Method is being told youโ€™ll live to 100. His deceased wife, Janet got the same prognosis for her 78th birthday: heโ€™s praying they reach 100 together, right on schedule for the East African Federation heโ€™s been promising since before most of that federationโ€™s voters were even born.

None of this comes cheap. State House reportedly spends over two billion shillings a day, just to buy him extra life at the time when our health sector is in quagmire.

For most of us Ugandans, 2036 is a year they hope to afford rent. For the despot Museveni, itโ€™s a confirmed calendar entry โ€” church today, election tomorrow, centennial in ten years, heaven whenever it suits him.

Other leaders put in place systems and infrastructure such as hospitals and libraries to be remembered, on the contrary, our power-greedy foreign criminal – Museveni invests in his personal stay in power.

See you in 2036. He already RSVPโ€™d โ€” and this time, he brought receipts.
